By accessing or using MapJSON at mapjson.xyz ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

MapJSON provides browser-based JSON utilities including formatting, validation, comparison, conversion, and educational content. Core transformations execute locally in your browser. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser configuration.

3. License & acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes subject to these terms. You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, scrape it in ways that impair performance, reverse engineer proprietary elements beyond what open-source licenses allow, or use the Service for unlawful activities including processing malicious payloads intended to harm third parties.

4. User data & privacy

Tool inputs are processed client-side and are not intentionally collected by us. Standard web server logs and advertising technologies may apply as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for complying with laws governing data you paste into the tools.

5. Advertising

The Service displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. Ad partners may use cookies and similar technologies. Your use of the Service constitutes acknowledgment of advertising as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OUTPUT FROM TOOLS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS; VERIFY CRITICAL DATA INDEPENDENTLY BEFORE PRODUCTION USE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAPJSON AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Intellectual property

The MapJSON name, branding, site design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
