MapJSON ("we", "us") operates mapjson.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We designed our JSON tools to process data locally in your browser; this policy covers website operations, analytics, hosting logs, and advertising.
2. Data you provide in tools
When you use formatters, validators, converters, or mappers, your input is handled by client-side JavaScript in your browser. We do not intentionally collect, transmit, or store the JSON, CSV, YAML, or configuration data you enter.You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any data you paste into the tools, especially regulated or confidential information.
3. Local storage & preferences
We may store non-sensitive preferences in your browser (for example editor theme or layout settings) using localStorage to improve usability. You can clear this data through browser settings.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Our ads.txt file lists authorized sellers. Advertising does not require uploading your tool inputs to our servers.
5. Hosting & server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs including IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. These logs are not linked to JSON tool inputs.
6. Analytics & search console
We use Google Search Console to monitor site health in search results. Aggregate search performance data helps us improve content quality. We do not sell personal information.
7. Your rights

The Service is intended for developers and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

- Does MapJSON store my JSON data?
- No. Tool inputs are processed in your browser with JavaScript. We do not intentionally receive, store, or analyze the JSON, CSV, or YAML you paste into our utilities.
